Welcome!!

I am Mrs. Wood, and as I get to know all of you better, I want you to know a little about me too!  I am a wife and mother of two teenagers, and this is my 7th year of teaching.  My passion for special needs children comes from time spent with my aunt while growing up.  She is absolutely one of my favorite people in the world. After having children of my own, I knew I wanted to be a teacher.  It is fascinating to watch their little minds grow and learn and to be a part of that.  One of my other passions is learning about technology and utilizing it to the fullest to help students gain their full potential.  Put all of these things together and we have a wonderful blend of amazing students learning in the most innovative ways (and having a lot of fun doing it).
